When the world hates you for being a follower of Jesus, for standing on truth, that’s when you know you don’t belong to this world. Once you learn that Covid was put in place FOR distributing vaccinations, you know you are entering a New World Order. When you learn that forced vaccination has always been the end game, then you are beginning to understand the REAL war. When hospitals become the #1 cause of death, you know the world has irreparably changed. When you watch the largest naval base in the U.S. handed over to NATO without a single outcry, you know you’re watching the New World Order at work. When the unvaccinated are considered a menace to society and the world’s primary health menace… then we must be nearing the end of days as Jesus described in Matthew 24.
Many of our DBM partners are under the greatest stress of their lives. As this world seems at its darkest, we who are believers, must fix our gaze on what Jesus has prepared for those who love Him. We DO have protection for His faithful on earth during the last days AND we have a future and a hope. Let’s take a close look at what God has prepared for those who love Him.
I regularly receive questions about Heaven from people wanting to know more details about what their future holds. My response is always about what the Bible says–the ONLY authority on every subject. So let’s consider what Scripture says about this wonderful place made for God’s people. I can testify that it is worth the race and worth the sacrifice of anything this world offers.
One of the questions is about the size and scope of the City at the center of Heaven, which is also called the New Jerusalem. The Heavenly Jerusalem, is also referred to in scripture as the Tabernacle of God, the Holy City, the City of God, the Celestial City, the City Foursquare, and the New Jerusalem. It will literally become heaven on earth when this Celestial City eventually comes to hover over the earthly Jerusalem throughout the thousand year reign of Christ. This is the City to which we look forward. You can find reference to this in Galatians 4:26; Hebrews 11:10; 12:22–24; and 13:14, but it is most fully described in Revelation 21. It is the place of our citizenship and the place where we can forever enjoy the fellowship of Jesus, our Lord.
The precise dimensions of the City are measured by an angel and are reported in Revelation 21:15-16. “And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal.” (NKJV)
For those who desire the literal details, a furlong is also called stadia, which calculates in size to be 1,380 miles in each direction. I shall round out these dimensions to 1,400 miles or 2200 km in length, width and height. The end result is a cube which is the approximate width from the Pacific Coast all the way to the Appalachian Mountains and would stretch from Mexico up to the Canadian border.
According to Scripture, in the next verse, the wall is measured according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. Even though these proportions could have symbolic significance, they could also be quite literal. “Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.” (Rev. 21:17 NKJV).
After doing some calculations it seems clear that the new Jerusalem has enough square footage to meet the needs and desires of all… and that is just inside the City. Another amazing aspect of the City is the height which is also 1,400 miles. Some people have surmised that this is to allow for the city’s tallest towers. Another is that there are many levels, each level many miles high.
There is no reason to concern ourselves about Heaven being over-crowded. There are almost 2,000,000 square miles on the ground level alone. This is 10 times larger than France or Germany and much bigger than the entire country of India. And that’s just the first level.
Given the dimensions of a 1,400-mile cube, we’re talking about a large mass of living space. If the city contains multiple levels, using earthly standards, there could be hundreds of thousands of stories represented in the space above ground level. Certainly Heaven could easily and comfortably support billions of people and animals allowing still many square miles per person. God prepared a place adequate for every person who would ever live. Tragically, many have ignored His offer and chosen the world’s kingdom over God’s. But for those who have chosen to follow Jesus as Savior and Lord, we have a place prepared for us in this beautiful and magnificent City.
The most important aspect of Heavenly Jerusalem is that God Himself will live there. His presence will be utterly overwhelming. And without doubt, He will be its greatest feature. There will be no temple there for “the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.” The City will have no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it. Scripture does not say there will be no moon or sun, therefore, it is not likely that the sun and moon are done away with. It just means that there is no use for the light of the sun or moon because the Bible says, “The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.” Revelation 21:23 NKJV
God has provided us with an amazing description of Heaven and the Heavenly Jerusalem throughout scripture. We are taught by Paul to look forward to our future home and keep the hope of Heaven in our hearts. It is important to remember that we are only sojourners passing through this world. Heaven is our home and we are citizens of that great land, with joy unspeakable waiting our arrival!
We must remember who God created us to be and hold onto that perspective. You are a spirit, having a human experience. Not a human with a spiritual experience.
As a personal testimony about Heaven, I can say that the love, the light, and the life of Heaven is beyond description. The Light is God’s presence that touches everything in Heaven and carries within it His perfect Love and perfect Life. No one is ever isolated or alone again. We are all recognized and loved and cared for by our perfect Father. And loved and embraced by the community of Heaven. All who enter Heaven experience something beyond explanation… a revelation of being Home. You and I were created for that place… not for this world.
Jesus made a promise to all who trust in Him. “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” John 14:3. He is coming again dear friends. And it will be right on time.
Remember, With God nothing is impossible!

In addition to what God has revealed to us in Scripture, we have the testimony of eyewitnesses whom Jesus has shown more of God’s plans for us. He told many of these eyewitnesses to come back and tell His people what He had shown them so they will be ready for His very soon return. I have written Heaven Is Beyond Imagination as a compilation of fifty of these eyewitness reports to show in greater depth and breadth what Heaven is like. These eyewitness testimonies confirm Scripture and at God’s direction go beyond it to give us a more complete picture of His grace and love and desire for us. You said you read my book and can affirm what I am saying. As I have talked to people about it, there has usually been enthusiastic response and it is addressing the same concerns people have shared with you. Is there any way my research and work could be used to bless your readers in addition to your effective work? If more people could be told about my book, I am sure many questions would be answered and God would be glorified and they would love and trust God more. That has been my experience doing this research and writing and is the testimony of some who have given me feedback.

My coworker, Donna, died of cancer late last month.. She was only 57, and a fighter.. she fought the cancer for several years but the Lord wanted to call her Home this year. The day we found out she passed on at work, was when I prayed, “Lord, it’s okay if you want to give me a dream with Donna in it.. to let me know she is okay.” That morning around 2:00 am, I awoke from a very vivid dream of Donna walking right through our department at work. Our eyes met, and she knew that I was very afflicted over her death, the situation that had erupted in Afghanistan, with America pulling all our troops out, and the big antichrist mess our Country as well as this World is turning into.
As she continued walking, she looked at me with an expression that said, “don’t get overwhelmed with the things happening on the Earth-. we’re just passing through”. And she continued to keep on walking right through our department, non stop.
When I abruptly awoke after that dream, I knew immediately our Lord was telling me through Donna’s visitation in that dream, that we are sojourners here.. we are passing through to ultimately be totally with Him 🙂
