Do you believe the Lord is returning soon? Do you know the signs to look for? Many evangelical Christians have become entirely complacent about the Lord’s return, having little interest or understanding concerning end-time events. Many prefer not to literally believe in a real person of Antichrist and the real persecution of any who claim the name of Jesus. Or maybe you’re someone who is confused and fearful when someone talks about the end times.
Every professing Christian should know in their own heart and mind, according to the Bible, what God has said about the last days. Not simply what a preacher has said, but what God has said. It’s too important to trust any particular doctrine or opinion. if a genuine Christian is prepared for what’s ahead, he or she will have the protection of God during the great persecution by Antichrist. If they are not prepared, they will experience the full brunt of Antichrist’s fury in his attempt to kill all who will not bow down to him.
A believer’s theology concerning the last days events and the sequence of those events, is therefore of immense importance. This is especially true for those who will actually live during those last days. And that is likely to be you. Never have there been events, situations or technology that provides for what the Bible predicts in the last days more than it does today.

It appears that the world is falling apart at the seams. Inflation is reaching historic levels and growing worse, there are looming food and energy shortages, the housing crises grows. And there are more threats than ever regarding just about every area of society. For many it’s difficult to keep your footing and perspective in these last of the last days. However, the Bible has a great deal to say about the end times, starting from the first book of Genesis all the way through the book of Revelation. If there is a possibility in your mind that you may be living in those days, isn’t it worth understanding more about what God says about them?
You can and should prepare now. Why? So that you won’t be held back by fear or concern about what is to come. Have confidence that God is in control and provides protection… for those who trust in Him. Do you trust Him? Or are you trusting in your politicians or science to protect you? This world and its antichrist system is not to be trusted. It is at war with God.
You CAN KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT and you can learn what to do and how to handle what is coming successfully. Just as in the day of Noah, God has a protection for His faithful.
Many Christians don’t think about this basic fact, the prophecies in the Bible are often not coming to pass by God, they are very often coming to pass due to Satan and his efforts. Said another way, God is not directing the circumstances, but He has warned us about the satanic plan. He is allowing the global elites … which are puppets of Satan, to proceed toward an end. In the meantime, God is allowing His people to be tested as the Church of Jesus Christ is persecuted and each believer is tried and tested as to WHO they truly trust.
There is a reason God says we won’t know the day or the hour of His return, but we WILL KNOW THE SEASON. I ALSO believe it is because he has given His people authority, those who fear the Lord, to delay it’s arrival. I have never been more thrilled to see once asleep believers wake up to the works of the enemy. Because if we do not recognize the enemy, how can we stand against him? It is time to put on the whole armor of God to fight for His kingdom.
Are you willing to be a prayer warrior and hold the enemy back? We know the return of Jesus will eventually happen, but perhaps enough Christians will stand in faith, take authority over the devil…and push back Satan’s agents to delay the Antichrist’s reign.
The Bible tells us through many prophetic messages that this will be a time of severe testing and I believe it will be the time of the most severe hardship that humanity has ever experienced. When things become extremely difficult, it does not mean that God cannot be trusted… on the contrary… it means He is the ONLY ONE WHO CAN BE TRUSTED!
Let me advise you that the rapture of the church is NOT going to save you from this testing. This testing is part of God’s preparation and purification process for His Bride. The rapture will save us from God’s wrath you can be assured of that, but still we are going to face severe difficulties and you must be prepared for it in advance.

Let’s look at some of the serious warnings revealed in Scripture about the last days. Now this may make some of you very uncomfortable but let me encourage you not to bury your head. Don’t push back from this truth which comes direct from the God in heaven who loves you.
He’s giving us this revelation to prepare us, not to scare us. We need to adapt our lives to Scripture, not the other way around. Respond with an open heart and mind, asking God to illuminate His Word and help us understand. I’m going to provide you with some real practical issues of how you can face the last days without fear.
In 2 Timothy 3:1 Paul says, “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come.” As Paul goes on in that chapter to give the reason for these perilous times, the reason is the deterioration of human character, the deterioration of ethics and morals and he goes on to list 18 moral blemishes that will be conspicuous in the end days. Three of them are things that people love.
The first is lovers of self, the second lovers of money, and the third and last one, is lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. With unerring accuracy, scripture pinpoints the great basic problem that faces humanity. The one that is the root of these three is the love of self.
Self-love is the cause of the breakup of marriages, the destruction of families, churches and society. In general, the attitude of “well this is what I want and I don’t care what you want.” That sure seems to be a reigning theme in our society these days. Can you think of a few instances this self love has crept up in our everyday lives? How about children picking their gender, abortion, take a jab or you’re risking my life, adultery, the list goes on and on. Self-love or selfishness is the end of structured order. Let’s look at Matthew 24:7-13. “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”
