As a nation… as a world, we are at a precipice. In this newsletter I will share what the Lord has put on my heart in recent days. It will not be popular but how can I not obey? I pray that the Holy Spirit will use it for those who are still willing to make Godly choices. The Holy Spirit has quickened my heart and mind that it is time to warn the Body of Christ as countless souls are at stake.

It’s no longer difficult to see the fulfillment of the following scripture found in Matthew 24:37-39.“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

There was a flood coming. A flood of overwhelming proportions. Noah was warning the people as he built the ark but it was not the message the people wanted to hear. Nor something they had ever experienced. They wanted their lives to continue as “normal” and not have to make changes.

Doesn’t that sound like today? It’s certainly the way human nature works unless it is motivated by the Spirit of God. Human nature thinks “If we hold on to what we know and like–it will somehow stay the same.” That is a dangerous way to live.

But that is like it is today. Only the few listen to the Spirit of God. Only the few seek out truth and make the necessary changes and preparation. The masses never see what’s coming because Satan wants to keep them in the dark… until it’s too late.

Sadly, evil is continuing at a blockbuster speed in these days. Why? Because there is so little to hold it back. The Church has left it’s post of resisting evil. So much so that now laws are passing that make it illegal to resist evil. This is allowing evil to come into full bloom, which of course it is doing in these last days. “For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?” 1 Peter 4:17.

I do believe that as a world, and certainly as a country, America has crossed the threshold of requiring God’s judgement. And it’s coming. We want to continue in the safety and joy of the past blessing we have had as a nation. But those days are over and judgement will be meted out.

When Israel rebelled and deserved judgement, God described it as a vineyard with the hedge broken down, leaving the vineyard vulnerable to outside attack. The hedge that has protected America for so many years is now broken down and the enemy is flooding in to destroy. God is allowing this nation and the world to experience the results of rebellion and the lack of righteousness.

We have killed our innocent. We’re making new laws to kill them more effectively. We are perverting the youth away from their Creator through rebellion against God’s design. We have compromised our worship of God. And the Church has stopped fulfilling its assignment. We no longer resist evil but accepted the enemy’s agenda as our own. We have truly left God no choice but to give our nation over to our enemy as judgement.

Psalm 89:38-46 tell of how God handles judgement against His people. But You (God) have cast off and abhorred, You have been furious with Your anointed. You have renounced the covenant of Your servant; You have profaned his crown by casting it to the ground. You have broken down all his hedges; You have brought his strongholds to ruin. All who pass by the way plunder him; He is a reproach to his neighbors. You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries; You have made all his enemies rejoice. You have also turned back the edge of his sword, And have not sustained him in the battle. You have made his glory cease, And cast his throne down to the ground. The days of his youth You have shortened; You have covered him with shame. Selah How long, Lord? Will You hide Yourself forever? Will Your wrath burn like fire?”

The reason evil continues to grow is because the worldwide church has lost it’s flavor, it’s power and it’s mandate. With rare exceptions, it is no longer salty, nor has it been for many years. It resembles the world more than it reflects God’s Word. The Church trusts in the world’s agenda and forsakes their trust in God. Too many of the churches resort to attracting the world through ministering to people’s senses and tickling their ears. This was prophesied for the last days church and we are seeing its fulfillment. Sadly, too many churches have turned into religious businesses rather than voices of righteousness. Churches no longer preach repentance from sin but sweep it under the politically-correct rugs that now fill our churches.

The Church is lukewarm at best, rather than piping hot. Jesus said, So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” Revelation 3:16. Jesus had a strong opinion about those who call themselves Christians.

Satan has made his way into the church through false doctrines and watered down compromise. Most don’t even recognize the error because they do not spend adequate time in God’s Word to have a plumb line from which to judge unrighteousness. And when they do see a contradiction they blame the Bible for being out of step with the times.

Far too many, feel “safe” in their confession of Christianity without adhering to what scripture teaches. I’m continually surprised at how few ever share the gospel with someone else. They treat it like a secret they only talk about with other Christians who know the same secret. That is not what true Christianity should look like.

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-17.

We’ve seen the Bibles gradually changed in the newer versions. Systematically stripped of power through slight adjustment in words which change doctrine to train a compromised Church. As one example, I just ordered a nice, leather KJV of the Bible for Dale. When we opened it, we were immediately shocked to see ALL… and I do mean ALL of the pronouns for God in lower case. You may say, well, that’s not such a big deal. All the publishers are doing that now. That’s my point. As a Church we no longer hold a standard of reverence toward God, so why would the world? And if we do not… then we don’t really KNOW Him. Of course, we immediately sent the bible back.

Man no longer fears God. And God requires us to “fear the Lord.” He hasn’t changed. But what does it mean “to fear God”? To be afraid of God? You may think, well, that’s not very attractive. Let’s look at what God’s word says about Godly fear.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Proverbs 9:10.

To “fear the Lord” means to be in reverent awe of His holiness. To give Him complete honor as the Lord of lords and the God of glory. To bow down in our hearts to His power. To know that He is the FINAL word. To submit our will to His will every day and to be concerned for our souls when we disregard Him. To trust His love for us but also to submit to His justice. To live before Him in humility and morality, out of respect for His purity.

God holds the power to cast any person into hell. Does the church fear that? Yet we act like we have a stamp on our hand that allows us entrance into heaven no matter what we do or how we live. God’s grace is a gift not a right. It is extended from Him to those who walk according to their salvation. Not to those who say the right words and live however they want to…with no fear of God. God sacrificed His only Son, allowing Him to be betrayed, beaten, dishonored and killed horribly…. for YOU! Do we live in reverent respect for that price?

We can fool others by the words we speak on Sunday at church or when we converse with another Christian. Yet, I see a new freedom in Believers to curse and speak in an unholy way. God looks at the heart. Is our heart faithful and submitted to God? Fearful of God? Obedient to God? Submissive to God?

“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” Ephesians 4:29

“But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.” Ephesians 5:3-4

And a few more worth reading: Matthew 12:36-37; James 1:26; Exodus 20:7; Luke 6:45. If we love God and are a follower of Jesus, then we feed on His Word and walk according to it. The Word of God orders our steps.

Satan has deceived the world and now the world is influencing the church more than the church is influencing the world. The Church has become weak. It is fearful. It worships the world as much as God. But God is a jealous God and will not accept sharing His worship. The double-minded and compromised living by self proclaimed Christians will fall short in the end.

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7:22-23.

We talk about how much God loves us–and He does. No one loves us like God does–perfectly, unconditionally. But God loves everyone… even those headed for hell. His love does not save us. His love provided a sacrifice that saves us, if we accept it and walk in submission and agreement with it.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” Jon 3:16-17.

Today is the day of salvation. It is an option only given to those still alive. Once we pass into eternity, we face judgement. The apostle John made it clear from the opening chapter of his gospel who this Son of God is and what, exactly, we are to believe about Him: The following scriptures are an overview of what “believing in Jesus” actually means. Every one who claims to be a Christian should read and meditation on these scriptures: John 1:1, 12, 14; John 14:6; Act 4:12; 16:21; 1 Corinthians 15:3-5; 2 Corinthians 5:21.

If we think that simply acknowledging that Jesus exists is enough, then you’re in the same camp as Satan. He certainly believes in Jesus. The demons that Jesus cast out, all believed in Him–even to the point of submission. They knew He had more authority than they did.

We are living in a world that is growing more ungodly and deceitful by the day… literally by the day. Our eternal destiny is hanging in the balance. God has done His part, now we choose. Our choice means EVERYTHING! Ask yourself… if today you are told to renounce your faith or be killed. What will you choose? That day is fast approaching. And the Bible tells us that many will fall away. Are you prepared not to be counted among the “many”?

I remember when I first saw the movie “The Passion.” The thought that kept plaguing me was that the church, myself included, had so whitewashed the torture and crucifixion of Jesus that we didn’t truly recognize the price He paid to die in our place.

I believe the church is doing that again with their understanding of salvation and grace. “Jesus paid it all” we say. But we don’t seem to value what He gave us enough to: share it, walk in it, or weep when we thank Him for it.

In the days of Noah, only those who were found righteous entered the ark and were saved. The rest of the world suffered unexpected and sudden judgement. We are headed for another storm of unequaled force. It is time to prepare for it. Eternity is hanging in the balance.

With God nothing is impossible!
