Capt. Dale and Paula Black bring another episode of PROPHECY CODEBREAKER. They describe what Jesus looked like as they explore the first Chapter of Revelation, and then answer another question.
“What do the 7 Churches in Revelation have to do with me today?” Their discussion makes this question relevant for every believer who wants to remain faithful to Jesus during these last days. And helps us gain Heaven’s Viewpoint on this prophetic book.
With God, nothing is impossible!

“Captain Dale’s heart is without a doubt in the right place. He helps us with our own salvation immensely. We are ALL going to die but before another minute goes by we MUST REPENT. Many people fail to do so and they risk losing Heaven and may have to suffer the pains of Hell forever.” – William
“Thank you so much Dale and Paula for the clarification on the end times and what happens. It was so confusing to understand fully before. Thanks for all your hard work and faithfulness.” – Linda
“Amazing story of God ‘s hand moving in Dale’s life in the book “Visiting Heaven”. If you don’t believe in miracles, his story could change your mind. Dale points to one who is behind the miracles. All glory to Jesus Christ, the Father and the work of the Holy Spirit within us.” – Jeff

Thanks Dale and Paula for opening up the meaning of Jesus’ words to the seven churches. It is good to remind us of our first love, the love we felt for the Lord initially when we first came into our love relationship with Him. As time has gone by we began to take that for granted and begin drawing other things into our love. I can see that in my life, that I soon drifted away from the total love of Jesus I had at the beginning to doubt what He could do through me.
The one thing that happened that speaks to me most clearly about this is that first year I saw a young man on campus in a wheel chair about to enter his house (Harvard’s term for a living unit) and I felt the urge to go to him and proclaim God’s healing for him. I didn’t do it because I was afraid his healing would not happen and I would fail. Since that time I have thought that if I had obeyed the leading of the Spirit then, my life would probably have taken a different direction. But God has never abandoned me. Every time I have failed Him he has brought along new ways to honor Him and be a blessing to others. I tell about this in my novella, A Walk Through Heaven, at the end when I meet Jesus. He has brought me back big time, but there is always the need to check in with Him and allow the still small voice to to redirect us.
On your description of what Jesus looks like, his physical (in the spirit) appearance is a matter of curiosity, but irrelevant, except as it reveals His heavenly nature. More importantly, what Jesus looks like is Love and acceptance and joy personified. You are right that there are not earthly words to describe heavenly features. I wish your readers could read Heaven Is Beyond Imagination in which I compare fifty different eyewitness experiences of heaven. Seeing so many people saying essentially the same thing but in different ways does give us a broader view of what is really important about Jesus. Though I have no first hand experience of heaven as you do, reading all of these testimonies and combining them into one volume has given me a greater sense of what God is truly like and what is important in our lives here. God had me do the research and write this book because He truly wants us to know in our hearts how much he loves and accepts us to prepare us for the last days and the meeting of Him in the air if not being united with Him before then at the end of our earthly lives.
I do have a question about valid translations. The King James translation was excellent in 1611, but since then the English language has evolved and words don’t carry the same meaning they used to and the sentence structure has changed. Trying to understand Scripture from an archaic translation gives us an erroneous understanding of what the Bible was meant to say. I have not checked out the New King James version because I don’t know if all the English meaning problems have been cleared up. Also since 1611 more ancient manuscripts have been discovered which shed additional light on the meaning of Scripture. Personally, I have been using the New International Version because the credits at the beginning describe how the earliest sources were considered and how a large team of Biblical scholars worked on the translation to make it as accurate as possible. But you don’t consider it reliable. Why is that?
Thanks Dale and Paula for another excellent message revealing the meaning of Scripture in light of heaven.
Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a NEW name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth [it].
