Understanding that life does not end when our body dies, is the first step to realizing we need to deal with where we will spend eternity… while there is still time. Angel Studio’s (distributor) soon-to-be-released film “After Death” is a shocking and expertly presented depiction of many different people dying—most of them unexpectedly—and finding themselves still very much alive. Death is in the future of all who are alive today. It is only a select group of born-again believers who are alive at the end of this age, who will never experience death.
“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” 1 Corinthians 15:51-52.
We are already in eternity NOW. Our final and eternal destination is all that is in question. Heaven is for those who make Jesus the Lord of their life—believing that He is God’s only Son, that He died on the cross to pay for sin, and that He rose again.
When we repent of our sins and ask Jesus into our life as Lord, we enter a place of righteousness—spiritually covered by the shed blood of Jesus. It is this new birth relationship that brings us into God’s eternal family.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in Him (Jesus) should not perish (in hell) but have everlasting (eternal) life (in heaven). For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved (from eternal punishment and separation from God).” John 3:16-17.
