What looks to you and me like a total disaster, God will work it for good. God can turn a mess into a wonderful success. God specializes in turning your tears of sorrow into tears of joy. You can even get to a place where you experience joy in your heart at the beginning of each adversity because you know you’ll have the victory when it’s all said and done. Not only that, but you will also come out stronger in the end!
Let me ask you this question. If you were certain, beyond any doubt, that the challenges you are facing now are going to turn into an awesome and wonderful victory, would you still give up? Genesis 50:20 says, “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” NKJV
Joseph went through tremendous adversity, again and again. But in the end, Joseph was firmly established at the top of a nation! He held fast to the vision God had given him during his many trials and challenges. In the end, Joseph saw the promise come to pass.
I’m not sure what kind of trial you’re going through today. But I do know that if you’ll be patient in the process, stay steadfast on God and His Word, then you will see the depth of the Lord’s compassion and mercy. God can use the very thing that Satan has brought against you as a tool for your deliverance and victory. It is the way God works. In human, natural terms, it may look like a total disaster. Be reminded, however, that God can turn any disaster into the greatest blessing. He has done this for me, He has done this for countless others. He can do it for you too. It is what He always desires to do for us–but we cannot give up or cease trusting in Him.
Make the choice today to continue to be strong and unwavering. Chose to be unflinching. Be resolute and stand on what God’s Word tells you. You have everything to gain by being single-minded and faithful to God’s ways. You have a lot to lose by quitting. So don’t give up? Don’t quit believing the promises in God’s Word? It is life and truth and really… really does work!
Keep trusting God and eventually enjoy a great and awesome victory! Don’t forget, with God nothing is impossible!
