Over the last forty years I’ve had the great privilege and honor of both knowing Jerry personally, and working with him. For a short time, I was even his pilot and instructor. We’ve been in each other’s homes and vacationed together.

I can honestly say that in those forty years–whether I worked with him, taught him about aviation, served with him, sat under his anointed teaching, or spent leisurely time with him–he left an indelible and lasting impression upon my life. Jerry was the personification of integrity.

More than just a professional minister, Jerry was a genuine, powerful man of God, who was filled and empowered with God’s Holy Spirit. He set an example to all, of how to live out the Christian life with adventures in faith. Whether behind the pulpit, or out in the real world, his dealings with people were consistently one of both humility and genuine kindness.

The many lives Brother Jerry won for the Lord, number in the hundreds of thousands, and the impact of his life and ministry is immeasurable. He will be greatly missed.

A one-of-a-kind teacher, he possessed the rare quality and ability of being both a leader AND a follower when necessary. He perfectly combined confidence with humility, intellect and humor. We will meet again, praise the Good Lord!
