Healing is an inheritance of God’s people. Jesus not only paid in full for your sin but also paid for your healing. His work was completed at Calvary, now it is time to take possession.

“Surely He has borne our griefs (sickness, weakness, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment] yet we ignorantly considered Him stricken, smitten and afflicted by God. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5

When God gave the Israelites the promise of a land of their own, the people had to journey to it and fight for possession of it. Often, healing is a similar journey of faith in action. God makes it clear in His Word and through the example of Jesus’ earthly ministry, that it is His will that all who believe should be healed.

If your healing is elusive… it’s not you waiting for God. It’s God waiting for you. Press in and seek understanding through God’s Word. The truth is there.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalm 103:1-5
