Have you ever wondered how God really sees you?

Not how others define you. Not how your doubts describe you. But how your Creator, the One who formed you with intention and care, sees you right now?

We live in a world that conditions us to compare, compete, and critique ourselves constantly. But God invites us into something different—something freeing. He wants us to see ourselves through His eyes. When you begin to understand your value to God, something powerful happens: your confidence grows, and so does your capacity to live out the purpose He designed for your life.

But you must Let Go of the Lies!
Insecurity doesn’t discriminate. If you’ve struggled with your appearance, abilities, or place in the world, those feelings aren’t from God. In fact, they directly oppose what He says and thinks about you.

If you’ve ever thought:

  • “I’m not good enough.”
  • “I don’t matter.”
  • “I have nothing to offer.”

Let this be the moment you start replacing those lies with truth.

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.”
— Psalm 139:14 NKJV

God calls you marvelous. Not broken. Not average. Marvelous!

A Glimpse from Heaven
Following the plane crash I survived, I was given the extraordinary experience of seeing heaven. And what I saw changed everything. In heaven, people are seen—and celebrated—for exactly how God made them. Their uniqueness doesn’t divide. It glorifies. There’s no shame. No insecurity. No one is trying to be someone else. Everyone radiates God’s design with great joy–seeing themselves and every other person through God’s perfect love and creative intent.

Different skin tones, personalities, and features all reflected God’s brilliance. The diversity that often divides us here on earth becomes a beautiful display of worship and creativity in heaven. Imagine seeing yourself that way—through the lens of eternity.

“Keep me as the apple of Your eye.”
— Psalm 17:8 NKJV

Heaven doesn’t waste time comparing. It praises the masterpiece of each person.

Don’t Agree With the Accuser
The Bible calls Satan the “accuser of the brethren” (Revelation 12:10). His tactics haven’t changed. He whispers doubt and self-hate to keep us from living as the people God created us to be. But you were chosen before the foundation of the world. You have a purpose—one worth fighting for.

“Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.”
— Ephesians 1:4

The Mindshift You Need
Transformation doesn’t come by trying harder to believe in yourself. It comes by believing what God says about you.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
— Romans 12:2 NKJV

You’re not meant to just reject negative thoughts—you’re meant to replace them. Every time insecurity rises up, answer with the truth: “That’s not true. God says I’m fearfully and wonderfully made.” Over time, the truth will take root deeper than the lies ever did.

A Prayer to Reset Your Thinking
Pray this today—and any time you need to realign your thoughts with God’s truth:

“Thank You, Father, that I am perfectly made in the image of Christ. You have known me since before the world began, and You formed me in my mother’s womb. I am the apple of Your eye. Thank You for making me, loving me, and preparing a marvelous plan for my life.” Say it until you believe it.

Final Thought
You are not your failures. You are not your insecurities. You are not what the world says you should be. You are who God says you are—and that truth can rewrite your entire future.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
— Jeremiah 29:11

He sees you. He loves you. And He has great things in store.

And remember, with God, nothing is impossible.
