CALLING AND MISSION
Kara, Dale, and Paula Black
“Our mission is to share truth, strengthen faith, point people to Jesus Christ, and provide hope to those who need it most.”
A CALL FROM GOD
In August of 2021, during several days of fasting and prayer alone in the mountains with my trusted Border Collie, Angel, I sensed a clear calling from the Lord. As I came down from that mountain, I was convinced that God was directing me to write.
Not merely to write another book, but to put into writing the lessons, truths, experiences, and faith principles He had faithfully taught me throughout more than seventy years of life.
Since that time, my wife Paula, my daughter Kara, and I have committed ourselves more fully than ever to that calling.
OUR MISSION
“Our mission is to share truth, strengthen faith, point people to Jesus Christ, and provide hope to those who need it most.”
We are not a large ministry. We are not backed by wealthy donors or large organizations. We do not own a home. We drive older vehicles. We live simply and work long hours. All three of us serve on very modest incomes because we believe this mission is essential.
Many years ago, we surrendered what most people spend their lives pursuing. We gave up a lifestyle that included successful businesses, homes, and assets worth millions of dollars in today’s terms. We do not say that to seek admiration or sympathy. We simply want you to understand our priorities.
Without Jesus Christ, I would have died at age nineteen in a horrific airplane crash. Without His guidance and promises, Paula likely would not have survived her battle with terminal cancer. Everything we do today flows from gratitude for what God has done in our lives.
That is why we write.
That is why we publish.
That is why we produce videos, articles, books, and teaching materials designed to encourage people, strengthen their faith, and introduce them to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
WINNING OVER CANCER
One of our most important projects is Paula’s newest book, Winning Over Cancer.
Every day, thousands of individuals and families receive the frightening news of a cancer diagnosis. We know that pain personally. Before Paula’s diagnosis, I had already watched twenty-six close friends and family members lose their battles with cancer. Since then, that number has grown dramatically.
I have stood beside hospital beds.
I have prayed with grieving families.
I have attended funerals I never expected to attend.
Cancer leaves few families untouched.
That is why Paula’s story matters.
Winning Over Cancer is not merely a book about disease. It is a story of faith, determination, research, hope, and healing. It offers practical insights, spiritual encouragement, and a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness during one of life’s greatest challenges.

TODAY, WE ARE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP
The writing is being completed. The message is ready. But books cannot help people if they are never printed, distributed, and shared.
Your support helps us print books, create videos, reach new readers, and continue producing faith-building resources that point people toward Jesus Christ.
Every gift, large or small, goes directly toward sharing these messages of healing, faith, and salvation.
If our books, articles, videos, or ministry have encouraged you, strengthened your faith, or helped you draw closer to God, would you prayerfully consider joining us?
Together, we can place life-changing resources into the hands of people who desperately need hope.
Together, we can continue lifting up the name of Jesus Christ.
Together, we can help share the message that changed our lives forever.
Thank you for your prayers, your friendship, and your support.
With gratitude,
