Over the centuries, countless methods have been developed to share the gospel—strategic campaigns, media outreaches, and large-scale events. Many have been well-intentioned. Yet amid all this planning, the Church often overlooks the most powerful evangelistic strategy ever spoken—Jesus’ own prayer.
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;
that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us,
that the world may believe that You sent Me.
And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one,
and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”
— John 17:20-23
Right before He faced the cross, Jesus asked the Father for something extraordinary: that His followers would be united—not in theory, but in reality. Not just theologically, but visibly. Why? Because that kind of love and unity would prove to the world that Jesus was truly sent from God.
The real catalyst for world transformation isn’t just more preaching—it’s when the Church begins to live as one. Unity isn’t optional. It’s the very thing Jesus said would convince the world of His divine mission.
What if we took that seriously?
What if believers refused to divide over doctrines, politics, denominations, or personalities—and instead chose to love, serve, and lift each other up? That kind of supernatural love would ignite a move of God that spreads like wildfire. It would unleash the very revival we’ve been praying for.
Thankfully, some hearts are already shifting. The Holy Spirit is awakening the Church to a deeper call—to love like Jesus and stop treating His command as a casual suggestion. We’re being invited to return to the simplicity of His instruction: love one another.
“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
— John 13:35
If you’re ready to impact the world, start here:
- Pray for unity among the brethren. Not just a vague togetherness—but Spirit-led, love-driven, Christ-centered oneness.
- Pray for God’s love to fill you daily. It starts and ends with each one of us… not someone else.
- Live like we’re one Body. Choose grace over gossip. Choose blessing over bitterness.
- Be a bridge, not a wall. Think the best of others in the faith. Encourage instead of critique.
- Serve like Jesus. Remember how He knelt and washed His disciples’ feet? That’s our model.
Jesus has already declared us ONE. Now it’s time we walk it out. When we do, the results won’t be subtle. The world will see something they can’t deny—a living, breathing testimony that Jesus is exactly who He claimed to be—by expressing His love through each of us. His love isn’t a superficial form of love that thinks agreement in everything is unity. This is God’s overcoming, unconditional love for those who are in God’s family and claim Jesus as their Savior. It is choosing not to judge someone else’s choices but to love while we judge ourselves according to God’s Word. We do not have to compromise to be in unity. We have the power to be in unity because of God’s love in us.
Satan fears this kind of unity because it demolishes his influence. But he can’t stop it. Love is stronger than division. And when we begin to live this way?
The world will be attracted to the Family of God.
Let’s not just talk about the Great Commission—let’s live the kind of love that draws those who are lost toward it.
With God, nothing shall be impossible
