Most people know about God’s commands. Fewer know about God’s promises. And fewer still know about God’s benefits.

That is a powerful doorway into Scripture.

The more I think about it, the more I like the phrase:

Promises With Benefits

It’s simple. Memorable. Easy to understand. And it immediately sparks curiosity.

After all, if the world offers benefits packages for jobs, credit cards, memberships, and insurance plans, how much more does our Heavenly Father offer benefits to His children?

Not as a sales gimmick.
Not as a prosperity formula.
But as the loving provision of a Father who delights in caring for His family.

And you’ve lived enough life to testify that some of His greatest benefits aren’t material at all:

  • His peace in the storm.
  • His presence in loneliness.
  • His strength in weakness.
  • His wisdom in confusion.
  • His protection in danger.
  • His healing power.
  • His gift of eternal life.

Those are benefits money cannot buy.

I suspect there are a great many believers who have spent years hearing what they must do for God, but very little about what God has promised to do for them.

And one final thought before you leave:

A promise from God is not merely a statement to admire. It is a benefit to receive.
