God’s Word is not just ink on a page—it is life, strength, and healing for you. The Bible clearly promises that health and restoration belong to God’s children. You don’t have to accept sickness as your fate. When Jesus walked the earth, His ministry revealed God’s will in action. Scripture says it plainly: “Jesus healed them all.” That same truth is still alive today.
Old Covenant vs. New Covenant
In the Old Testament, mankind had surrendered authority through sin. People could only find protection under God’s law and could not confront satan directly.
But under the New Covenant, everything changed. Jesus gave authority back to believers when He declared:
“They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:18)
The curse of sickness must bow when the name of Jesus is spoken in faith. Healing isn’t random—it’s part of God’s plan for those who believe.
Real Stories of Healing
Many years ago, my wife Paula felt prompted by God to pray for a woman dying of cancer who was in hospice care, with no medical options left. Paula laid hands on her, prayed in the name of Jesus, and shared Scriptures on healing. Within two weeks, that woman was home—cancer-free.
In another case, I prayed for a young man with advanced HIV. Frail and near death, he asked for prayer. Only days later, he testified that he was completely healed, verified by his doctor.
These are not distant stories from Bible times—these are modern, documented miracles.
Power Greater Than the Curse
The curse of sin and sickness is strong, but Jesus is stronger. Three things guarantee victory over the curse:
- The Name of Jesus – Every sickness and demonic power must bow to His name (Philippians 2:10).
- The Word of God – Jesus is the Word made flesh (John 1:1). His promises carry divine authority.
- The Holy Spirit – Jesus promised not to leave us alone (Acts 1:8). The Spirit teaches us how to apply God’s higher laws, which overcome the broken systems of this world.
These three together make every believer more powerful than sickness, fear, or poverty.
God’s Word Restores Authority
God gave us His Word so we could know Him and walk in authority again. Jesus said:
“Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 18:18)
That means believers have real authority to stop Satan’s attacks in their lives. When God says something in His Word, He means it—and He backs it up. But we have to access it with our faith.
Want to Know God’s Will? Look at Jesus
If you want to understand God’s heart, just look at Jesus. Every miracle, every healing, every word He spoke reflected the Father’s will. Jesus Himself said:
“He who has seen Me has seen the Father.” (John 14:9)
Jesus didn’t act on His own; He spoke only what the Father told Him. That means His attitude toward sickness is exactly the Father’s attitude: healing, not sickness, is God’s will.
Jesus Came to Destroy the Works of the Devil
The Bible says:
“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)
Every act of compassion, every miracle, every healing Jesus performed was God’s will in action. If He destroyed the works of Satan then, He still does today. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Final Word
The ministry of Jesus is proof that God’s will is to heal. Through His name, His Word, and His Spirit, you can walk in freedom from the curse of sickness and fear.
Believe His Word. Act on it in faith, because—Jesus still heals today.
And remember, with God, nothing is impossible!
