If you’ve ever quietly wondered, “Lord… are You willing to heal me?” you’re asking the same question a man once asked Jesus face to face.
Wherever Jesus went, healing followed.
Jesus didn’t just teach. He didn’t just preach. He demonstrated the power of God’s Kingdom, and God’s will to heal.
Healing wasn’t limited to certain illnesses or reserved for a select few. Scripture tells us that Jesus healed all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.
Listen to these wonderful words:
Matthew 4:23–24 (NKJV)
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.
Now listen to another beautiful account.
Matthew 8:2–3 (NKJV)
And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
I love these verses.
I often read them aloud. I speak them with my own voice and listen to them with my own ears. I read them again… and again… and again.
Why?
Because hearing God’s Word builds faith (Romans 10:17).
As these Scriptures enter your ears, remain before your eyes, and take root in your heart, faith grows. And faith is how we receive the promises of God.
Notice something important about the man with leprosy.
He never questioned Jesus’ power.
He questioned His willingness.
Many believers still wrestle with that same question today.
“Lord… are You willing?”
Jesus answered that question once and for all.
“I am willing.”
Those three words reveal the heart of God.
If Jesus was willing then, His heart has not changed today, because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
No disease is greater than His power.
No diagnosis changes His character.
No circumstance alters His compassion.
Whether you are believing God for healing, strength, wisdom, or simply the grace to take the next step, keep filling your heart with His Word. Let His promises become louder than your fears.
May the Lord Jesus strengthen your faith, encourage your heart, and remind you that He is faithful to every promise He has made. Stand firm. Keep your eyes on Him. Even when you cannot yet see what He is doing, He is still at work.
I encourage you to continuously agree with Him. Through spoken word and actions. That is faith at work.
With God, nothing is impossible.
