If tribulation is going to increase as we near the end of this Church age, it is important to recognize the signs and be prepared to face these days with confidence.
God has given His children precious promises that we can hold on to that will help us face the days ahead with peace and confidence. Romans 8:6 instructs us how we can have a life of peace … “but to be spiritually-minded is life and peace.” Isaiah 26:3 encourages and instructs us, “You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, Because He trust in You.”
Jesus Himself told us that perilous times and tribulation were present even in His day. He also taught that it would continue until the end. We see this reflected in the political pressures that were against the Christians of the early Church. Many hid and struggled to avoid arrest. Others were martyred for their faith. These precious witnesses of glory offer the final generation an example of excellence that we can strive to emulate if it is required of us.
Galatians 6:9 says, “and let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Don’t lose heart friend. God is preparing a righteous and glorious Church to greet Him. We each must be willing to contend for our faith. Jude 3 – “Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.”
As you go through your week, remember… with God nothing is impossible!
