Let me ask you a really HARD Question. If you HAD to choose only one, would you be loyal to your family or loyal to the Lord Jesus? Loyalties are being put to the test now more than at any time in this country since the civil war.
Believers everywhere are sensing the Spirit of God telling them to spend more time in prayer and avoid compromise. You can start today and give God the loyalty He deserves. Make Him FIRST in your life. And make the decision NOW that you are loyal to Him above everyone else and above all else.
To shed light on this issue, let’s review the teaching of Jesus Himself: “Do not think that I have come to bring peace on the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword [of division between belief and unbelief]. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his [own] household [when one believes, and another does not]. Matthew 10: 34 – 36 AMP
Do you think these words refer only to the gospel? If the answer is “yes,” then this article is especially written for you! When Jesus speaks, we learn literal meanings that instruct us, as well as principals of truth that guide us. So what about illegal government mandates? How are we to deal with lies from the media and the government and even from the pastors of our churches?
Loyalty to Jesus Christ must exceed loyalty to our nation, our companies and even our own family members. That’s a hard but necessary decision to make… and make NOW. This choice or priority, is not a popular message in the modern-day corporate Christian Church. This article will make many frustrated and upset. The Lord’s message in the above scripture, is difficult at best. It almost seems contradictory to the gospel, doesn’t it? Let’s read further to understand what’s at stake:
“He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me] is not worthy of Me.” Matthew 10:37-38 AMP.
Commitment to Jesus must take precedence over all else!
Luke’s gospel records even stronger language from the Lord: “If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life [in the sense of indifference to or relative disregard for them in comparison with his attitude toward God]—he cannot be My disciple. Whoever does not carry his own cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow after Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me] cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:26-27 AMP
We each must take stock. Where does our loyalty REALLY lie? Where do we stand on the importance of truth? Are you paying attention to the many leaders of the western churches who willingly obey the government today, over God’s Word? It should be EASY to see how watered down the modern Corporate Christian Churches of Comfort have become. We must each choose who we will serve and who we will obey.
When we simply believe what is dictated to us by an evil system within this fallen world, and we do not love truth enough to spend the time and effort to verify what is true, we become vulnerable to the enemy’s plan. God tells us that our freedom and protection come as we stay aligned with the Truth.
I am writing this article under the prompting of the Holy Spirit, yet I fully expect many pastors, and those who do not love the truth to be unfavorable toward this article. Yet, I’m only highlighting the teaching of Christ. In the book of Revelation, believers are called “His (Jesus Christ’s) servants.” We cannot serve two masters. The Bible tells us that we will end up hating one and loving the other. “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other…” Matthew 6:24.
“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NKJV). This is referring to glorifying God in, and with, our body.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Thessalonians 5:23. We are tasked by the Lord with protecting our body from this fallen and evil world.
Let those in the faithful Church step away from compromise. Let’s take a stand against the lies of Satan. Paula and I are standing up for God’s healing and health and overcoming victory. Don’t be part of the dead or compromised church. Instead, choose to be FAITHFUL. And continue to be FAITHFUL right to the end. If we do not make the decision now, it is likely we will ultimately be deceived. (See Revelation Chapter 7:9-14).
“So Jesus said to them, “My time has not yet come; but any time is right for you. The world cannot hate you [since you are part of it], but it does hate Me because I denounce it and testify that its deeds are evil.” John 7:6-7 AMP. The more we align with Christ, the more the world will hate us. We must all prepare for this and be willing to be counted worthy. Persecution is growing against all who call themselves “Christian.” It will only intensify as we draw nearer to the end.
The end times require us to fully identify with Jesus Christ, as one of His followers. There are many benefits to enjoy in being a member of the household of God. You can trust in Him more than in threats, fear, your family, or your “Christian” friends.
Believers everywhere are hearing the Spirit of God directing them to spend more time in prayer and avoid compromise. Why not start today and give God the loyalty He deserves. Make Him FIRST in your life. And keep Him on the throne of your life. Make the decision NOW that you will remain loyal to Him above everyone else, and above all else.
Reminding you again, with God nothing is impossible.
