“Love never fails” 1 Corinthians 13:8 The Amplified Bible.
Anger—Due to the danger of lose of control. Fear of failure. Assault on your core beliefs. These problems have haunted all of us at some time in our lives. Popular psychology tells us to live and cope with it—giving us tricks and strategies to try to manage this powerful emotion.
But the Word of God tells us that there is a failure-proof way to live without anger getting the upper-hand. It is the way of love. Let me tell you what God showed me about turning anger into strength.
If you want to know true personal success, you must learn to be moved and motivated by love. That’s how Jesus conducted Himself when on the earth.
Consider John the Baptist—who was Jesus’ cousin and was also the one Jesus went to for baptism. When John the Baptist was brutally murdered, Jesus had strong emotions and went away, wanting to be alone. But the people followed Him and would give Him no solitude. But still… He didn’t deviate from the way of love. Matthew 14:6-14 says, that even then in that emotionally taxing time, while the people followed Him and would give Him no solitude, He was moved with compassion and healed their sick. Jesus responded with “love in action.”
Years ago I wondered how Jesus could just turn away from that terrible crime and not retaliate. Finally, I understood that He did retaliate. He overcame the works of Satan with compassion. He defeated hatred with love. He attacked Satan in the spirit realm by destroying his works of sickness and disease.
Love doesn’t strike at the surface of things. It goes directly to the root of the problem. That’s why love always succeeds.
“But wait!” you may say. “I’m not Jesus. I can’t operate like that.”
Yes, you can, because the Word of God says that His love has been shed abroad in your heart! (Romans 5:5). And 1 John 2:5 says, His love is perfected in you as you keep His Word.
“But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.”
Commit to living the life of love today (keeping God’s Word). Watch God turn failure into success and anger into strength. When emotions flare, use that as your “alert” to move into love.
Love is not a feeling…it’s not just another emotion. It is a CHOICE! A choice to take action that is loving. A choice to keep God’s Word in the situation you find yourself.
Commit to express God’s love to those closest to you… at home, at work, in any situation. You can defeat anger because Love never fails!
Jesus taught about this contrary principle of love over anger in Matthew 5:43-48. This Scripture gives us examples of when to choose love instead of negative emotions. “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
Remember, with God nothing is impossible!

This word is very powerful, very powerful indeed. Thank you. This message is needed all the more nowadays, as situations, events and circumstances are getting darker. It’s really easy to get all discombobulated about so many things and before we know it, our hearts are full of anger and it feels alien to the gospel, and it may be causing physical ailments too.
