Healing is available to all of God’s people and it is also available through God’s people. So why do we not see healing occur more often.
There are several principles that govern healing and today we’re going to look at one of those powerful principles. It is a principle that many overlook as you pray for healing.
Your soul is made up of your mind, will and emotions. It controls what actions you decide to take, which words you decide to speak, and the choices you make. Your subconscious mind has no power of judgment; it simply records data and experiences as they happen and then by your will you either believe that data or reject it. But you must choose or your silence chooses by default.
Satan is called an evil genius. He uses the mind of a person as his battleground by planting negative thoughts and messages. He hopes you will agree with those messages, he hopes you will repeat and act in alignment with the lies he has planted. He has designed a negative marketing campaign to try to sell you on your personal failures and lack of ability. You have the power to choose what you will believe.
“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;” Deuteronomy 30:19.
Choose not to believe him. Don’t repeat the condemnations he plants in your mind and do not let them into your heart.
This is why the words of your mouth (what you say to others), the meditations of your heart (what you say to yourself), and the words of others (whom you listen to), whether positive or negative, greatly determine what you think and believe. This in turn affects your faith.
Faith is believing in something Godly. If you think, talk and act in a way contrary to what you are believing for, you are double-minded and will never receive what you want.
Furthermore, what you think strongly effects what you do, and who you’ll eventually become. “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he” Proverbs 23:7.
Your heart-talk should always be acceptable in God’s sight. It directly affects the faith you have for healing. Imagine how you’d talk if Jesus lived in your home.
Think of yourself as God thinks of you. This requires a major effort, I know, but it is the way to make changes in your health, healing, relationships, happiness, and overall success in your Christian life.
Remember, with God nothing is impossible!
