In John 16:33 Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Praise the Lord! As God’s children–those who have put their faith in Jesus–have access to the supernatural.
Jesus not only told us that peace is available, He told us to be of good cheer. Notice that Jesus doesn’t bury His head in the sand and pretend that everything is wonderful. He acknowledges the world’s condition by stating that in this world we “will have tribulation.” But in spite of that tribulation He tells us to “be of good cheer,” because He has overcome this world and through Him we are also able to overcome. Our Lord is faithful and He answers prayer. Not only that but God is more than able to supply your every need. And remember… with God nothing is impossible.
