There’s power in prayer to change things. “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16b gives us these encouraging words about the effectiveness of prayer.
Intercession is prayer that pleads with God for the needs of others. But it’s much more than that. Intercession is warfare. It’s the key to God’s battle plan for our lives and the lives of those we care about. But the battleground is not of this earth. The Bible says, we’re not fighting against people or natural circumstances. We’re fighting against forces and authorities and rulers of darkness, and against spiritual powers in the heavens.
Do you have a loved one who doesn’t know the Lord? Prayer is the most powerful tool you have to change the course of their eternal destination. Watch the video “Prayer for Your Loved Ones” now.
Let me challenge you… start fervently praying this week for one person that you love who is not walking with the Lord Jesus. Begin interceding for him or her and do not let up.
You can do it. With God nothing is impossible.
