How can we overcome in preparation for the end times? We need to be informed and prepared. The Bible says, “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 2 Timothy 3:1-5
The Bible is clear that in the last days before Christ returns, it will be a difficult period of time. There will be a marked sense of human arrogance, unhealthy pride and ungodly behavior. People will be lovers of pleasures and themselves much more than lovers of God. Never have we lived in such a time in our nation when so much of what is written is manifesting.
