In Proverbs 3:9-10 we read… “Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the first-fruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.” The book of Proverbs gives us a very basic principle of success. It is this: If you desire God to honor and bless you in any area of your life, you will WANT to honor Him in that same area with your life. What we sow in faith, we also reap.
As we quickly approach the end of another year… we are blessed by the financial resources that keep us going… from you, our Partners and Donors. You are planting seed as a gift to the Lord when you give to this ministry, which is blessing us and the many we are able to minister to because of your support.
If you want God to bless you financially, you will WANT to honor Him with your money, or as this verse puts it, with the “first-fruits” of all your increase. In other words, tithing your first-fruits will open heaven’s ability to bless you financially. When we live in agreement with the principles of the kingdom of heaven, the seeds we sow continue to reap a harvest eternally.

I took a course many years ago called the 4-T program in which we learned to tithe our time and treasure but this can also include volunteering and giving to God’s world such as national parks and preserving wild animals.
I wish I had learn to do this earlier in life when I felt pinched hand how to borrow to pay my rent, because when I started to tithe suddenly I had more of everything–it really is an amazing Law.
