Two years and one month ago, Paula and I made our first WEB-TV video. It was pretty pathetic–but we did our best. You see we felt we had heard from the Lord to abandon plans of retirement and place all that we owned into God’s hands and trust Him with it. We felt inadequate and a bit obsolete with today’s high tech and cultural changes and the prevalent Christian compromise… not to mention that we are on the older side of life. Still we believed we were to preach God’s Word with whatever was in our hand. We trusted the Scripture found in Exodus 4:2.
We owned a $210 small video camera. And we used our living room and started preaching. Now, here we are, twenty-five months later and as of today, April 4th 2017, statistics report we reached the coveted “100,000 viewers” with our single channel. Just today, on this single day, 1100 people from 26 countries have watched these videos that God asked us to make without compromise to His Word. Thanks to our partners we have been blessed to now add television quality camera equipment and some beginning editing equipment. We’ll be moving into our first office/studio within 2 months. God is using many of you. Look what God is doing…
Just yesterday and today, 190 have viewed from the UK. There were 130 from Canada, 59 from Australia, 43 from India, 41 from Norway and 25 from Ireland. It’s exciting to know that 22 from Singapore, 20 from Indonesia, 19 from Malaysia, 19 from the Philippines, 18 from Germany, 17 from New Zealand, 17 from Sweden, 17 from South Africa, 16 from Peru, and 15 from Hungary have watched and are responding. Not only that but, 12 from Brazil, 11 from Czechia, 11 from Jamaica, 10 from Bahrian, 10 from Hong Kong, 9 from Guam, 8 from Netherlands, and 7 from Puerto Rico have viewed our over 102 active video teachings. We’re pleased to add all these to the 1,300 from the U.S. All in just TWO DAYS.
Here’s more: Just this month, more than 17,691 viewers have watched, totaling 129,470 minutes of listening to and watching the gospel of Jesus Christ being preached. DBM Partners and Web-TV donors… THANK YOU. You did your part so that we could do our part. Isn’t God amazing?
What Does This Mean for You?
There is a powerful principle that applies to all of us. In a very short, yet powerful teaching, based on Exodus 4:2, God is saying. “And the Lord said to him, What is that in your hand? And he said, a rod.”
In Exodus, God appeared to Moses to instruct him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. There was a problem, Moses didn’t believe he could do all God was asking him to do. God responded to Moses’ excuses by asking him, “What is that in your hand?”
In essence God was telling Moses, “Stop telling Me what you don’t have and can’t do. Instead, tell Me what you DO have. What is in your hand?” Next God took what Moses had—a rod (stick)—and filled it with His power.
God can use ANYTHING that we are willing to offer Him. If He can use a stick, surely He can use you! Don’t wait until you can figure out how to do it in your own strength. Let God infuse His power into you right now and do whatever He asks of you. Watch God’s strength work for your good and for His glory.
What God did with Moses, He’ll do with you. If God can do what He’s done with us, with one used small video camera, think what He’ll do with you! When you give God what you DO have, that’s when He can do great things through you. “Now [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness and charity].” 2 Corinthians 9:10 AMP.
With God nothing is impossible!
