Proverbs 4:23 in The Amplified Bible warns, “Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.” You keep your heart by keeping it full of the Word of God. That’s the most important thing you have to do in this life, once you are born-again. You can’t live in the abundant life Jesus promised without a steady diet of the life force of God, which is His Word.
It is the foundation for any faith we have. Need more and stronger faith? Spend more time in God’s Word.
