It’s surprising how much confusion there is about faith. Faith is the currency of God’s Kingdom yet, so many Christians still don’t understand how it works.
In today’s message we will review what faith is… and what it is not. We will look at principles that govern faith and how we use them. Faith is something every Christian needs if they want to experience freedom from this fallen world through the supernatural power of God.
Faith is also called belief, or faith in action is referred to as believe.
Let’s look at the Hebrew meaning of the word believe. Which is also defined “faith.” The Hebrew word emunah (אמונה, pronounced “eh-moo-nah”) is understood in English to mean “faith” or “belief.”
These two words in most biblical contexts are interchangeable. If you have faith, you believe. If you believe, you have faith.
When I speak of “faith”, I am not speaking of the spiritual doctrine you have, such as Christian or Catholic or Buddist. I am referring to the force of faith to bring heaven’s power to earth. Or to replace Satan’s will with God’s.
Faith is linked to miracles. “And these signs will follow those who believe (or have faith): In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-20.
We are told that without faith it is impossible to please God. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6.
Faith must be put into action to be real faith. “But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?” James 2:20.
Through faith people are healed. The word faith is constantly linked to people who received their healing through faith. One story I love about healing faith is also full of faith principles. It is found in Mark 5:25-34. “Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well. (faith in her heart that took action in agreement.)
Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes? But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ “And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”
Notice that healing power flowed out of Jesus when he was touched by someone who BELIEVED He was the Healer. A woman with faith received what was inherent in Jesus… Healing, because she took action in faith based upon the person of Jesus.
Faith was the access point. It was the open valve that tapped into the reservoir of healing power. Faith is the conduit between heaven’s power and this world. And healing is released through a person’s faith (firmly relying trust).
What Faith is NOT: Faith is NOT a feeling. It is not wishful thinking. It is not even hope. It is not a religious stance. It is not something you earn. It is not something you are rewarded with.
Faith is a firm resolute conviction that what God has said is true in spite of earthly circumstances or physical symptoms or impossible statistics.
FAITH IS NOT A FEELING… IT IS A STEEL BACKBONE that will not be moved for ANY reason from a firmly relying trust that God’s Word is true. More true than anything this world holds up against it. More true than any physical or emotional feeling. More true than worldly evidence or science. More unchangeably true than anything contrary to it.
Faith, of course, has to be based upon something that God has established as reliable… something that gives it value and substance.
Consider our U.S. Dollar. It used to be backed by gold–a substance that holds value and guarantees the worth of a dollar. Now, however, ever since Nixon removed the dollar from the gold standard, the dollar is no longer based upon anything solid or of value.
God has told us in His Word that faith must be backed by only one thing—God’s Word. Nothing else will do. A good or worthy reason isn’t enough. A powerful emotion of hope is not enough. A huge need for something worthwhile is not enough. Faith is based upon what God has said. Not a verse or principle taken out of context, like a fortune cookie. It must be God’s will and/or Word in the context of Godly truth.
Psalm 119:160 tells us that truth is found in the “total sum” of God’s Word. “The entirety of Your Word is truth…” This means we cannot take a verse out of context from what God intended when He gave it and expect it to produce something through faith. We must know God’s will in order to have the God-kind of faith that produces results.
I encourage you to rethink your faith. Is it the God-kind of faith? Do you need something today from the Lord? If you need something that is God’s will and substantiated in His Word, then take a stand.
Pray and ask in faith (firm trust), and then believe (take action and speak words that are in agreement with what you have requested). “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24.
Lastly, DO NOT BE MOVED! Not by anything. Satan will try… read Mark Chapter 4 and prepare yourself to stand. Prepare to resist the devil when he comes to steal the promise from you.
Faith becomes evident in the struggle–not before. You are guaranteed the victory if you will not let go until you receive the promise.
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” 1 John 5:4.
And remember, With God Nothing is Impossible!

Disney Employees in Florida Arrested for Human Trafficking as Videos Appear Online Showing Top Disney Executives’ Desire to Sexualize Children with Transgender Teaching
For all of you parents and grandparents out there who still believe that the Walt Disney Company produces “family friendly” entertainment safe for young children, you need to pay attention to what is going on in Florida right now.
First, four Disney employees in Florida were recently arrested for human trafficking, with one of them being a 27-year-old lifeguard who reportedly sent sexual images of himself and graphic sexual messages to an undercover detective who was posing online as a 14-year-old girl.
Then, the Walt Disney Company publicly criticized a new law that was recently passed in Florida that is supposed to protect children from sexual predators.
Just yesterday, a Twitter user named Christopher Rufo published 3 videos of 3 Disney Executives from an internal meeting where they discuss their transgender and LGBTQIA agenda for children.
This is a good time to remind everyone that Walt Disney himself was a 33rd degree Freemason and that occult symbols have been used in Disney entertainment since the beginning.
