“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
The Lord is faithful! No matter the circumstances… keep your faith and trust firmly rooted in the Lord. He is the Protector and Guide to each one who trusts in Him. When circumstances become scary or difficult, it can be tempting to become fearful and hide in the dark, simply hoping it all turns out. We each must take a stand with what we believe, and speak in faith — continuing to pray in agreement with God’s will. Pray for our President Trump. Pray for those who are fighting to save our Republic. Pray against evil and speak words of expectancy in faith. Pray for your loved ones and for yourself — that the Lord will direct your steps.
We are living in a day when we must each become stronger in the Lord. God uses difficulty throughout history as a time to grow His people. The time for playing church is behind us. It is time to put on the armor of God (Ephesians 6) and become part of the Lord’s spiritual army. If you don’t know how to do that, ask the Lord to help you. Then spend time reading and STUDYING God’s Word.
Pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit… every day. Whether you have had an experience in the past with the Holy Spirit or not, now is the time to be filled every single day. It is the Spirit who guides us into truth. It is the Spirit who leads us in the way we should go. Now more than ever, we each need all the God has provided. The time has passed to lean on someone else or the church to carry the load and tell us what we should do. Everyone who calls themselves a “Child of God” must learn to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.
We are experiencing a blackout and today is our 3rd day. We lost electrical, heat and internet. We made a video with Kara’s phone (see above) yesterday and have a “Blackout Checklist” for you in FREE Downloads at DaleBlack.org. We still have no power at home and it is quite cold in the house (40’s). Outside drops into the 20’s at night. But, praise the Lord, we have power at the office now and are all enjoying the warmth and internet capabilities so that we can get more information out to you.
The word was again released yesterday that blackouts are in our future and we need to be prepared for a possible 2 week blackout. Be vigilant! Be prepared with food, water, cash, gas in your car, etc. Keep God’s Word fresh in your heart. And Pray! God is mightier than any enemy and will bless those who trust in Him.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” Number 6:24-26
Remember, with God all things are possible!
