Just one day ago a church in Mississippi was burned to the ground for trying to conduct services. The First Pentecostal Church had filed a lawsuit against the city last month over the city’s public health order to ban services. In the aftermath of the fire, a spray painted message was found in the charred remains that read, “I bet you stay home now, you hypokrites.” This message was clearly directed at the church for it’s stand on it’s constitutional rights to open.

Prayer is a powerful tool–especially when it is in agreement with many others. An oppressive government should not be allowed to tell us whether we can congregate to worship God. Praise the Lord, this is a battle that we have won.
